We had an awesome camping trip with Kev and Jess over Labor day weekend. We went to Panguitch, Utah not quite 4 hours from Vegas. Was very pretty and was a nice change in scenery and weather...even though we had quite a bit more rain than we wanted. Luckily my husband was more than prepared with enough blue tarps to build us an ark if it became necessary!!!

Hmmm, pics with a timer dont always turn out the way they should...however we wanted to capture the 9 course meal that Jess prepared....(spaghetti and cheesy bread...yumm)

Mom, Dad, Anya, Mikey, and I went to the Dodgers game on Saturday night!!! It was a great game against the Rockies!! It went 14 innings!!! EEK a 5 hour game!!! Sadly, the Dodgers lost 7-4 but they played them again on Sunday and won....so I guess I'll survive the disappointment!!!

Smoky Skies

There has been a large fire raging to the southwest of Bakersfield and we have been inundated with smoke and ash from the fire...ugh!! However it made for pretty interesting views. I couldn't quite capture how vividly pink the sun was behind the smoke but it was beautiful!!! This picture was taken at about 3 in the afternoon and it was not stormy at all, all the haziness is from icky smoke!!!

Manhattan Beach

We spent two wonderful days in Manhattan Beach, CA watching AVP volleyball!!! Awesome!!! As a belated anniversary trip it was perfect!!!
