Laggin Behind...

Wow! Sorry its been so long since the last update!! We have been very busy lately and I've been too lazy to post anything. Lets see...besides recent conventions in buttonwillow and casa grande, a jack & jill bridal shower, birthday parties, a few landscaping projects at mom and dad h's, & work, we haven't had too much goin on...I do have some pictures from these recent events but dont feel like posting them at this time (laziness strikes again!) I hope everyone is doing great and I will try to get those pics up soon!!!

Weekend Getaway!!!

Speaking of Strange Characters....

Venice Beach!! It was beautiful this weeekend! Plus there was the added benefit of being entertained by all the strange characters that congregate there!!  

One Mans Trash Is Another Mans Treasure...

Besides being the official garage photographer, my other VERY important and tiring duties included being guardian of the snacks, watergirl, and thingamajig fetcher. All in all, a very productive day for me!!

Put some more elbow grease into it Loren, I dont think they're clean enough yet!!! ;-)

Loren decided his old tires needed to be spruced up a bit before putting them up for sale. 

Saturday afternoon was spent cleaning out the garage, deciding what was worth keeping, what to throw away, and what we could convince some lucky bargain hunter to take off our hands at a garage sale... 

Thrilling Thursday.....

Actually the only thing thrilling so far today was breakfast....French toast!!! Yum Yum!! After that wonderful beginning however the rest of the morning and afternoon has been spent doing the normal humdrum things that make our little world go 'round. I think the dishes and the laundry have decided to entertain themselves at my expense...as soon as I think I've finished the last load of dirty laundry and unloaded the last dish from the dishwasher...there "magically" appears to be another load of laundry...and five more dishes in the sink...hmmm.. Besides what I've decided to call the Suds conspiracy, not a whole lot has been going on here in Las Vegas. Loren is still working at Specialty Tile...one of his latest projects has been my parents new home that they are having built in Bakersfield, CA. He also just spent the last weekend in California visiting with our friends..Brad and Wes Burns. As for myself... I took this semester off of school and have been working part-time at an elementary school as an after-school sports coordinator...a fancy way of saying I get to play games with kids. It's tons of fun and I really enjoy both the kids and what I'm doing..lately we've been playing indoor soccer, a sport that I've never played before in my life! So I provide the kids with plenty of entertainment as I struggle to control my natural instinct to go after the ball with my hands (years of volleyball, basketball, and softball are ingrained I guess)... Well that's enough for now...the Suds have made another suspicious appearance that I must combat at once or their plan to conquer the condo will be complete!!!

Loren went to NorCal to visit the Burns Bros. after Bradley had his wisdom teeth removed this weekend.  

I think he's got the "touch"...she seems to like him!!
